Our Lord said this succinct prayer would release 1,000 souls from the awful fires of Purgatory [in accordance with Divine Justice] each time said. Our King said to Saint Gertrude: |
"Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory. And for sinners everywhere, for those within the Universal church, for those within my own home, and within my own family"
Thus, the Holy Souls you've just released? They'll never fail to pray for you [their benefactor]: You, who have opened the Gates of Paradise, will reward you with illustrious grace whenever they see you in any need or danger; In reverses of fortune, illnesses, or accidents of any kind, they'll be your defense; Their zeal will increase whenever the interests of your indelible soul is at stake; They will POW!erfully assist you to conquer temptation [pray the Hail Mary], to practice good works, to die a Christian death, and to mitigate the sufferings on your journey Upstairs to the Great Beyond.
